MILWAUKEE, WIS. (naccsports.org) - On Tuesday, Illinois Tech men’s tennis Alann Torres was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Apr. 10 - 16.

The senior from San Antonio, Texas went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles matches throughout the week for the Hawks. In singles play, Torres captured wins over both Wisconsin Lutheran (6-1, 6-2) and Edgewood (6-0, 6-0), both in the No. 1 position. In doubles play, Torres paired with Jordan Lauer at No. 1 doubles to pick up victories over Wisconsin Lutheran and Edgewood.
