CHICAGO, Ill.- The Illinois Institute of Technology hosted NAIA's ninth-ranked team, Robert Morris-Chicago, on Tuesday night. Tech was defeated 3-1.

How it Happened
- The Scarlet Hawks battled in set one, battling back from deficits to tie the score at 11-11 and again at 20-20. The Eagles pulled away at the end to win set one 25-20.
- Despite trailing 5-2 early, the Hawks fought back to take an 10-8 lead behind two kills from Michael Drews. A 7-2 run gave the Eagles the lead back, which the Hawks were unable to overcome. A late charge fell short as the Hawks dropped the set 25-22.
- In set three, the Hawks took a three-point lead at 13-10, their largest of the day. Despite several Eagles runs, the Scarlet Hawks prevailed, as a Drews kill gave them the set win at 26-24.
- Set four was controlled by the Eagles, as the team led from start to finish and won 25-13.
Scarlet Hawk Standouts
- Ryan Barnes had one of his best games of the season, tallying a game-high 12 kills.
- Alex Babusci had another strong match, totaling 10 kills, two aces, and seven digs.
- Kevin Schroeder led Tech with 12 digs.
- Andrew Woltman recorded 31 assists.
- Filip Letkiewicz put together an all-around match of five kills and three total blocks.
