O'Donnell's Double-Double Not Enough in Loss at Aurora

O'Donnell's Double-Double Not Enough in Loss at Aurora

AURORA, ILL.—The Illinois Institute of Technology women's basketball team closed their two-game Thanksgiving road swing at Aurora University on Saturday. Shannon O'Donnell's double-double 12 points,10 rebounds and game-high four steals wasn't enough to propel the Scarlet Hawks in a 100-37 loss to the Spartans.

IIT drops to 0-5, 0-3 NACC while Aurora improves their record to 3-1, 1-1 NACC.

O'Donnell's second double-double of the season was complimented by Erin Efimoff's team-leading 15 points and six boards. The Spartans, who held the IIT bench to zero points and a team .245 (13-53) field goal percentage, were led by Julie Galauner's game-high 30 points.

The Scarlet Hawks will return to action on Saturday, December 7 when they host Milwaukee School of Engineering at the Keating Sports Center for a 4:15 p.m. tip.
