Road Trip: Whenever we go to Michigan and are able to eat at Chipotle, as well as teammates taking terrible pictures of me sleeping on the bus.
Pastime: I love working with clay and making little ceramic pots or bowls. I have so much patience and I love doing extremely detailed work.
College Course: Studio since it takes up most of my time.
Prized Possession: The little plant I got from a farmers market near my house.
TV Show: Baking shows or (secretly) The Bachelor.
Food: Moussaka.
Restaurant: Strings for ramen or fry the coop for fried chicken sandwiches.
Vacation Spot: Geneva, Switzerland, where my mom grew up and some of my family still lives.
Website: Pinterest because of all the food and architecture inspiration, but most of my time goes to Instagram.
PERSONALLY SPEAKING
Why I Chose Illinois Tech: The great program and proximity to the downtown, and also the opportunity to competitively play a sport.
Game Day Ritual: Having a massive breakfast (especially if we're at hotels) and then usually having a stomach ache (bad ritual).
Pet Peeve: Loud teams
Biggest Fear: Spiders
First Job: Working at a pizza place (MOD pizza).
What Most People Don't Know About Me: My first language was Arabic.
Best Player I've Played Against: Weronika Halicka from our own tennis team my first year of college.
Something I Never Leave Home Without: My fanny pack!
Advice to a Young Athlete: Work in the offseason often and wherever you can.
Sport I'd Like to Try Someday: Some sort of water sport, maybe surfing.
Influences on my Athletic Career: My father taught me how to play tennis and hung a tennis ball from a string attached to the ceiling for me to practice hitting the ball when I was a toddler.
Post Illinois Tech Plans: Work for an architecture firm before going back to graduate school hopefully.
