CHICAGO—The Illinois Institute of Technology women's tennis team hosted MSOE in a Sunday-morning affair at the XS-Tennis Center. The Scarlet Hawks ran away with an 8-1 victory over the Raiders.

A 3-0 doubles sweep was the case for Illinois Tech, which began with an 8-2 victory for Morgan Colbert/Kylie Hance over Cameron Larson/Hannah Marron in the No. 1 position. Allyson Trang/Natalie Hamill converted an 8-7 nail-bitting win over Katie Clements/Cierra Smith in No. 2 doubles. The No. 3 slot resulted in an 8-4 victory for Mouna Chahin/Ramya Nissankula over Leah Becker/Yuti Modi.
Colbert was flawless with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Marron in No. 1 singles. Hance tallied a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Katie Clements in No. 2 singles, while Hamill notched a 6-1, 6-2 decision over Smith in the No. 3 position. Trang took down Leah Becker 6-1, 6-4 in No. 4 singles. Ramya Nissankula notched a default win in No. 6 singles.
The Scarlet Hawks will end their 2021 regular season in a make-up date at Marian (Wis.) that is still to be determined.
