CHICAGO—The No. 3 seed Illinois Institute of Technology women's tennis team hosted No. 6 seed Marian University (Wis.) in a 2021 NACC Women's Tennis Tournament First Round match at the XS-Tennis Center on Tuesday. The Scarlet Hawks registered a 5-0 decision over the Sabres, and will advance to the 2021 NACC Women's Tennis Tournament Semifinal at No. 2 seed Concordia (Wis.) on Friday, May 7 at a time yet to be decided.
Illinois Tech improves to 6-2 overall while Marian (Wis.) concludes their season with a 3-6 mark.

Morgan Colbert/Kylie Hance were flawless in No. 1 doubles with an 8-0 decision over Emma Lewandowski/Carly Paulson. Natalie Hamill/Allyson Trang (No. 2) and Mouna Chahin/Ramya Nissankula (No. 3) picked up 8-4 victories in their doubles matches.
The Scarlet Hawks sealed the 5-0 decision courtesy of Morgan Colbert's 6-0, 6-2 win over Emma Lewandowski in No. 1 singles, and Kylie Hance's 6-1, 6-1 thrashing of Kyrsten Bruce in No. 3 singles.
