CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois Tech women's volleyball team traveled to nearby North Park University on Wednesday night. Illinois Tech fell 3-0 to the Vikings.

How it Happened
- North Park took an early 8-5 lead, but the Scarlet Hawks hung around and managed to tie things back up at 16-16 later on. Illinois Tech was never able to pull ahead, however, as North Park went on the win 25-22.
- In set two, North Park used a 7-0 rally to go up 10-4. The Scarlet Hawks managed to cut the lead down to three at 17-14 before a 4-0 run for the Vikings stopped the threat.
- Set three also belonged to the Vikings, as North Park took a 12-5 lead. The Hawks never fully recovered and fell 25-15.
Scarlet Hawk Standouts
- Alyssa Miner led the Scarlet Hawks with nine kills while adding a block.
- Irena Grauzinis added seven kills.
- Reya Green led the team with 12 digs.
- Courtney Curcio added two aces and five digs.
- Courtney Darling tallied 19 assists.
For the Foes
- Reagan Clement added 13 kills.
