CHICAGO, Ill. – Hosting the second annual Scarlet Hawk Invite, the Illinois Tech women's volleyball team lost two matches on Saturday, the tournament's second and final day. The Scarlet Hawks fell to both Olivet College and Albion College in straight sets.

Scarlet Hawk Standouts – Olivet Match

• Courtney Darling led Tech with 15 assists.
• Courtney Curcio was the team leader in digs with 11.
• Taylor Burton added three block assists.

• Digs were nearly even (Tech 45, OC 44).
• Each team had 12 block assists. Olivet also contributed three solo blocks.

• Burton had a strong match, tallying 10 kills, five total blocks (two solo, three assisted), and a .333 hitting percentage.
• Sara Hassell tallied eight kills and eight digs.
• Darling led the Scarlet Hawks with 12 assists.

Stats to Know – Albion Match

• Albion outhit the Hawks .345% to .130%, resulting in a kills advantage of 40-24.
• The Britons won in large part due to serving, recording 15 aces.
• Albion outdug Tech 37-27.
