CHICAGO, ILL.—The Illinois Institute of Technology women's volleyball team's 2021 schedule will consist of 27 matches, which includes 14 non-conference bouts. The Scarlet Hawks are set to return to the court after their 2020 campaign was called-off due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The 2021 season opener will pit the Scarlet Hawks at North Park on September 3, before they embark on their home opener on September 4 that includes two matches against Lawrence and North Central (Ill.). The east coast will await Illinois Tech on September 10-11, as they'll participate in the Tufts University Tournament. Defending NESCAC Champion Tufts, defending NEWMAC Champion Wellesley, and Brandeis make up the Scarlet Hawks' opponents throughout the two-day tournament.
The Scarlet Hawks will also participate in the Rose-Hulman Tournament on September 24-25 against opponents to be determined.
St. Mary's (Ind.) (September 17), Eureka (September 18), Olivet (October 2), and Wis.-Oshkosh (October 23) round out Illinois Tech's non-conference opponents.
