Notre Dame, Ind. - The Illinois Tech women's volleyball team extended their winning streak to three matches, defeating Saint Mary's 3-1 in a non-conference road match. The Scarlet Hawks improved their record to 4-4 overall (1-0 NACC). The Belles dropped to 4-4 overall (0-0 MIAA).

  • The Hawks had a balanced attack, with four players in double figures for kills: Sadie Harrington (11), Jessica Weaver (11), Briar Moore (11) and Maria Fernanda Alcantara (10). Harrington also finished with a .500 kill percentage.
  • Sara Hassell also contributed six kills to the Hawks attack.
  • Stephanie Nguyen paced the Hawks with 22 digs, while Moore had 19. 
  • Harrington led the Hawks with three blocks, while Moore topped the team with three service aces.
  • Allie Wilkins finished with 22 assists on the evening, with Grace Reckamp adding 17 assists.
  • The Belle's were led by Colleen McCarthy (11 kills), Shay Thiele (22 digs & 5 service aces), Claire Hennessy (30 assists) and Molly Pooler (3 blocks).
