Chicago, Ill. - The Illinois Tech women's volleyball team pushed their winning streak to six matches, downing Benedictine 3-1 in a conference match-up at the Keating Sports Center. The Scarlet Hawks moved to 7-4 overall (2-0 NACC). The Eagles fell to 5-8 (1-1 NACC).
Playing in front of their home crowd for only the second time this season, the Hawks jumped out to a two sets to none lead before the Eagles fought back to take set three. Trailing 8-7 in the fourth set, the Hawks, energized by the lively crowd, rattled off nine of the next eleven points to build a six-point lead. The Eagles closed within four points before the Hawks took match point.

- Briar Moore led the Hawks in kills (10) and digs (20). Maria Fernanda Alcantara and Emily Graham each had nine kills, with Justine Bracco adding eight.
- Kelsey Starnes and Stephanie Nguyen contributed 18 and 13 digs, respectively.
- Jessica Weaver led the Hawks with three blocks and four service aces.
- Ellie Leach finished with 13 assists on the evening, with Grace Reckamp adding 11.
- The Eagles were led by Brooke Huizenga (9 kills), Courtney Levy (20 digs & 3 service aces), Alyssa Mojica (17 assists) and Yngride JeanPhillipe (3 blocks).
