Women's Volleyball Finishes 2-0 Weekend In Wisconsin With 3-0 Win At Averno

Milwaukee, Wisc. - The Illinois Tech women's volleyball team completed a successful weekend in Wisconsin, closing out their trip behind the Cheddar Curtain with a 3-0 match win at Alverno. Including their win Friday night at Edgewood, the Scarlet Hawks moved to 13-7 overall (4-2 NACC). The Inferno fell to 1-9 (0-5 NACC).

The two conference victories over the weekend helped the Scarlet Hawks erase the sting of dropping two conference home matches last week against MSOE and Dominican.

Match Highlights and Notes

  • Briar Moore and April Williams led the Hawks in kills with nine each, with kill percentages of .500 and .444, respectively. 
  • Allison Wilkins finished with 10 assists on the afternoon, with Grace Reckamp and Sasami Cavan adding eight assists each.
  • Reckamp paced the Hawks with 12 digs.
  • Williams, Moore and Nicole Kadziola each had three service aces.
  • The Inferno were led by Rolin West (8 kills & 10 digs), Alex McMath (15 assists) and Selena Upshur (2 blocks).
